Develop low level modem software for new SoC (system-on-chip) product, based on existing IP and new requirements.
Optimize power consumption in modem domain for new SoC product. Work with multiple HW/SW development and test teams to triage and debug power issues and achieve power goals.
Triage, analyze and resolve stability issues in modem software.
Study multiple logs and other debug data to find the root cause of problem, and develop solution.
More than 2 years of software experience within the wireless, telecommunications or semiconductor industry
Good C skills and Embedded programming skills
Experience in modem software development. Familiar with 3G/4G cellular technology and mobile communication system.
System level issues debugging in RTOS environment with Trace 32.
Expertise in power optimization of mobile device would be a big plus.
Work experience in SoC vendor would be a big plus.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work on resolving customer reported technical problems during mobile or wireless communication product development cycles.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and Communication skills and willingness to work with customers.
Good oral and written English skill. Be able to participate in teleconference in English.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
