General Summary:

We are looking for an ASIC Design Verification Engineer with strong CPU, ASIC design and verification fundamentals to work in Qualcomm's Global SOC team. This position offers the rare opportunity to have real impact in shaping 5G product lines ranging from low power Snapdragon chips to the growing field of Machine Learning (AI/ML) and to autonomous driving. The JOB

  • As a member of the Global SOC Lower Power verification team, you will be responsible for verifying the ASIC low power design, architecture and micro-architecture of by applying advanced low power verification methodologies.

  • Architect, develop, automate & deploy low power verification framework & flows using state of the art verification modelling methodologies and formal verification techniques. Verify wide range of complex system low power and complete end to end low power system use cases

  • Collaborate with architects, designers, SW Engineers, pre- and post- silicon verification teams to develop test plans, coverage closure and post-silicon bring-up

  • Manage small DV team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Pay range:

$158,000.00 - $247,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
