In this role, you will be required to drive optimization of Qualcomm's wireless connectivity solutions. You will be an important member of a cross-functional global team and will work closely with engineers from the Algorithms, Software, DV, Architecture, and PHY Bring Up teams. You will take designs from pre-silicon validation to delivery of complete reference designs. Tasks include functional testing of new designs in simulation/FPGA prior to tape out, wired and over the air throughput measurements, determination of key performance indicators, and debug of performance and functional issues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Laboratory experience in testing and debugging hardware and software performance issues.

  • Knowledge of wireless industry standards including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax

  • Excellent programming/scripting skills in C/C++, Perl, and/or Python.

  • Self-driven individual who can work independently.

  • Solid understanding of baseband signal processing algorithms at the PHY and MAC layers.
