In this role, you will be required to drive optimization of Qualcomm's wireless connectivity solutions. You will be an important member of a cross-functional global team and will work closely with engineers from the Algorithms, Software, DV, Architecture, and PHY Bring Up teams. You will take designs from pre-silicon validation to delivery of complete reference designs. Tasks include functional testing of new designs in simulation/FPGA prior to tape out, wired and over the air throughput measurements, determination of key performance indicators, and debug of performance and functional issues.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
Laboratory experience in testing and debugging hardware and software performance issues.
Knowledge of wireless industry standards including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
Excellent programming/scripting skills in C/C++, Perl, and/or Python.
Self-driven individual who can work independently.
Solid understanding of baseband signal processing algorithms at the PHY and MAC layers.
