The RF/Analog organization within QCA develops all RF, mixed-signal, and analog ICs for these complete wireless platforms. In order to drive our next phase of growth in cellular, wireless peripherals and 4G, we are expanding our Silicon Valley RF/Analog Design Center.
You will work as part of a close-knit team on the system design, implementation and verification of RF transceiver products and platforms for advanced wireless technologies.
Job duties include:
Developing signal processing techniques to receive and transmit wireless signals
Conducting simulations (Matlab, ADS, or similar) to study system performance under various conditions
Develop system level specifications for electronic radio frequency (RF) circuits and systems
Working closely with IC designers and software developers to develop an implementation that meets system requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Master's, Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years of experience with the following:
Design and development experience with RF products and systems
Communication theory, signal processing, probability and random processes
Digital pre-distortion for WLAN
WLAN 802.11 (various flavors)
Required: Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
