The RF/Analog organization within QCA develops all RF, mixed-signal, and analog ICs for these complete wireless platforms. In order to drive our next phase of growth in cellular, wireless peripherals and 4G, we are expanding our Silicon Valley RF/Analog Design Center.


You will work as part of a close-knit team on the system design, implementation and verification of RF transceiver products and platforms for advanced wireless technologies.

Job duties include:

  • Developing signal processing techniques to receive and transmit wireless signals

  • Conducting simulations (Matlab, ADS, or similar) to study system performance under various conditions

  • Develop system level specifications for electronic radio frequency (RF) circuits and systems

  • Working closely with IC designers and software developers to develop an implementation that meets system requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 2+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's, Electrical Engineering

At least 3 years of experience with the following:

  • Design and development experience with RF products and systems

  • Communication theory, signal processing, probability and random processes

  • Matlab program

  • Digital pre-distortion for WLAN

  • WLAN 802.11 (various flavors)

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
