Job Overview

Qualcomm-Atheros, a.k.a. QCA http://www.qualcomm.com/qca/ is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm and a leading provider of wireless technologies for the mobile, networking, computing and consumer electronics markets. As a key member of pre-Si Validation team, you need to design and make available the best possible solution for Emulation Platform. In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Own all the Emulation Platforms.

  • Work with various user teams to understand their unique requirements.

  • Design an Emulation Platform usable in maximum number of use cases.

  • Ensure maximum availability of most reliable remote access setup.

  • Work with various infrastructure teams to coordinate their support.

  • Help debug failing testcases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working with various emulation platforms and methodologies

  • Comfortable with Verilog, System Verilog, and reading someone else's code

  • Good knowledge of PC Hardware and Networking

  • Comfortable debugging on FPGA platforms

  • Creating Regression of tests provided by other teams

  • Good documentation capabilities

Education Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
