General Summary:

Job Summary:

Candidate will be responsible for Technical Marketing for Snapdragon Compute products targeted for Laptops and other PC segments. Requires close collaboration with product leads to understand technical details across all technologies and competitive dynamics to prepare detailed collateral (slide decks, briefs, short videos, comparison videos etc.), strategically position and effectively communicate all the merits of Snapdragon solution to PC customers (like Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.) and global partners. Candidate must have experience in PC industry, understand technology, and possess excellent communication skills to differentiate Snapdragon technology and support global product launches.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed technical marketing collateral across all technologies for Laptop SOC. Example – CPU, GPU, AI etc. Work closely with SOC product managers and technical product managers to understand the technology and competitive details. Creatively prepare variety of content / collateral – slide decks, videos etc. and plan a communication strategy. Creatively and Strategically promote Snapdragon technology to customers and partners at global events. Work with PC OEMs and support their global product launches. Be an advocate for Snapdragon Compute products.

Requirements:

Technical marketing experience and knowledge of PC industry and key players including but not limited to – Silicon vendors, PC OEMs (Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.), Microsoft. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Communications, Engineering, or related field.

• 4+ years of Technical Marketing or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qua lifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration/Management, Communications, Engineering, or related field.

• 6+ years of Technical Marketing or related work experience in a high-tech product company.

• 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr Director level and above).

• 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

• 1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

Pay range:

$148,500.00 - $222,500.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
