Unique opportunity to join the Qualcomm Internal Audit & Advisory Services organization. The teams activities focus on providing the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and Senior Management with independent and objective assessments regarding the design and operational effectiveness of the company's system of internal control.
Using Qualcomm's risk-based audit methodology, the candidate will plan and perform internal audits throughout Qualcomm's domestic and international business units/divisions while evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of process controls over the company's IT systems, assets, business operations, compliance programs, and departmental policies. Approximately 10% travel to Qualcomm's domestic and/or international locations may be required.
Key responsibilities may include:
Use a risk-based approach to independently and effectively execute IT internal audit engagements in accordance with department and professional standards;
Identify and assess inherent risks and control activities, and design effective audit procedures to evaluate control effectiveness;
Prepare internal audit reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly describe audit/advisory results;
Perform follow-up of Management action items through resolution;
Complete ad-hoc project requests timely and with high quality;
Conduct advisory projects for key system implementations and business process changes to provide proactive risk and control guidance to business partners;
Communicate effectively with all levels of management;
Stay abreast of changes in the business environment and to assess impacts to the company's risk profile;
Build and maintain relationships with IT partners.

- 2+ years of IT Audit experience in a global corporate environment (e.g. IT General Controls, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, System Implementation Reviews, Oracle ERP and Database, Cloud services (PAAS/SAAS/IAAS), Windows/UNIX/Linux)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CPA, CIA, or other relevant credentials
Proficiency with Visio and ACL
Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27000
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
