Job Overview

We are looking for smart, innovative and motivated individuals with strong theory background in advanced signal processing, probability & algorithms and good implementation skills in C++.

The candidate will join Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy Research team, and work on designing and prototyping the brain of next generation autonomous vehicles. You will have the opportunity to work with a group of top talents in computer vision, deep learning, robotics, connectivity and positioning in Qualcomm.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in two or more of the following areas:

  1. Sensor fusion across multiple sensor modalities for perception or localization

  2. Precise positioning and mapping engine design based on GPS/GNSS, Dead reckoning, HD Maps, and other sensors

  3. Computer vision and deep learning based algorithm design and prototype with automotive use case

  4. Automotive radar signal processing and design Automotive/ground robots path planning and control algorithm design, simulation and implementation

Strong fundamentals in linear algebra, probability theory, statistics and signal processing

Strong programming skills with Matlab, C/C+Good computer vision background in feature detection and tracking, multi-view geometry, SLAM, and VO/VIO is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

MS or PhD preferred
