As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain C# / .NET based measurement software and related tooling.

  • Identify, analyze, design and implement new features/requirements in cooperation with users and subject matter experts.

  • Contribute to the design and development of the measurement software platform and related tooling part of the SW development team.

  • Write and maintain relevant documentation as required.

  • Work closely with colleagues in multiple time zones to ensure successful and timely feature delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable course of studies.

  • Professional experience (3+ years) developing in C# and the .NET framework on the Windows platform.

  • Experience developing with WPF, PRISM, developing standalone 'backend' applications & frameworks

  • Experience working in an agile software development with continuous integration / testing & unit test driven development.

  • Experience working with config. and release manage. syst. (e.g., Git) & issue tracking syst. (e.g., Redmine). Fluent in English.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
