Job Overview

As part of the India Sales and business development team, this leader is responsible for driving Qualcomm Indias relationships with the leading carrier account. The role holder will also have leadership oversight for driving channel engagement- specifically through online and offline distribution players.

This role requires leadership and coordination across regional sales teams, global licensing teams and leads from the product, engineering, marketing, finance and operations business units.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer engagement, execution and communication skills complimented by technical understanding to drive deals across key stakeholders, both internal and external including ecosystem partners. Candidate should also have exposure sales & distribution with strategic roles in channel engagement.

Minimum Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Account management Leading Carrier in India Formulating the business strategy for the leading carrier account to: o Ensure account growth o Drive technology adoption o Drive adoption of core and adjacent market product lines of Qualcomm o Analyzing the competitive landscape for connectivity in mobile communications, computing and consumer markets. Analyze competitors and provide insight on their market position, segmentation, product portfolio, strategy and financial performance, and their anticipated next moves based on public information

This will involve: Pitching roadmap of core and adjacent market product lines of Qualcomm Introducing new business opportunities along with partners viz. ODMs, solution providers, system integrators, solution providers etc Increase QCT share and attach rate. Increase silicon revenue in products developed for customer Engagement of Qualcomm Engineering Service Group Drive new revenue stream across IoT and Adjacent markets through the carrier. Interface with customer management team on regular basis. Conduct presentation and manage escalation Drive marketing related activities to enhance visibility of Snapdragon and other Qualcomm brands in partnership with India Marketing

To be effective in these responsibilities, the incumbent will need to work closely with QUALCOMM offices globally and coordinating cross-functional efforts. It will also involve techno-commercial interaction with all levels within customers organization and forming value-added executive relationships.

Leadership Oversight for Engineering and Product Support:

Provide Strategic Direction for: Driving feature adoption to increase Qualcomm share. Promoting 5G and other technologies of Qualcomm Interface between Qualcomm Engineering in India and Product Management in San Diego Work with the customer Standards team for alignment

Leadership Oversight for Channel Engagement: Articulate Strategic Roadmap for: - Creating sales channel structures & models, incl, Go-to-Market, Partner co-activation programs across offline & online channels - Craft strategic partnerships with channel partners to drive snapdragon brand preference & adoption in all retail formats

Preferred Qualifications

20+ years of experience in sales, strategy and/or business development experience, working with carriers or telecom infrastructure companies Professional with strong work ethics and persistence to achieve results for Qualcomm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as advanced organization and presentation skills. Must be able to work effectively in a cross functional team environment Must be a Sales or Business Development professional with product management/customer relationship experience and a strong drive to upskill himself with new advancement in technology Ability to build customer relationship at all levels including executives and stakeholders Strong technical background and understanding of current and future technologies viz. LTE-Advanced, LAA, LWA, Multi-fire, 5G, LPWA, WiFi etc, both in domains of cellular and non-cellular.

Education Requirements

Bachelor or Masters degree is relevant field .
