General Summary:
The UX/UI Designer will be part of a small design team that is responsible for the user experience across Qualcomm’s customer-facing digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities
Design marketing pages for Qualcomm.com from concept to build. Including wireframing, layout design, asset creation and QA.
Ability to own and extend the digital design system. Design new components in Figma—specifying states, breakpoints, and properties; handing off requirements to the dev team and communicating the enhancements to users of the design system.
Support senior designers with UI/UX projects, ability to take direction from leadership and execute on the idea.
Create web assets such as icons, infographics, illustrations and photo retouching.
Work closely with the development team, meeting daily— driving feature definition, bug reporting and enhancements. Familiarity with the front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) is a plus.
Document and organize component feature designs and requirements, specifying states and CMS requirements.
Meticulous attention to detail. This role will be reviewing designs and features before they are published on the website to ensure the build matches the design at all breakpoints.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of design experience in a consulting or in-house environment, or related work experience. Has previously worked with an existing design system and processes. Comfortable working with industry design tools (e.g., Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop)
