Qualcomm Marketing Manager - Snapdragon Brand Manager in Mexico City, Mexico

General Summary:

This new role will support the Sr. Manager of the Snapdragon brand in leading key brand projects to support the ongoing evolution and building of the Snapdragon brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with brand leader to become a brand expert, to ensure guidelines and creative reviews are aligned accordingly.

  • Work collaboratively with teams within the organization to ensure they are utilizing the brand correctly in their materials.

  • Oversee brand asset development from creative brief to project oversight to routing ensuring creative is in line with brand and legal standards.

  • Support product and program brand architecture and naming exercises according to naming guidelines.

  • Ensure projects are within budget and completed within timeline constraints.

  • Provide guidance on best brand practices to teams and stakeholders, supporting brand governance through creative reviews.

  • Present briefs, concepts, creative and plans to Management as appropriate.

  • Assist in communicating brand updates to agencies and marketers through the development of brand update newsletters.

  • Support brand development projects, audits and competitive brand research as needed.

This role is officed based in Mexico City and will require the ability to travel to the U.S. on a quarterly basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

OR

Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

OR

High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced communication skills in English

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in Brand or Marketing related fields

  • Prior experience providing marketing or brand support in equivalent industry

  • Prior creative/graphic design education and work experience

  • Expert in brand architecture and naming

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to bring new ideas to the table

  • Strong understanding brand building, management and governance

  • Professional presence and ability to work with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational abilities and experience in managing creative agencies

  • Strong knowledge of creative development discipline from briefing to file types

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with global teammates in multiple regions

  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work both independently and within teams.
