General Summary:

Qualcomm performs global data collection to enable development and verification of state-of-the-art ADAS functions for the Automotive industry.

As Data Logistics Lead you will

• Be a part of the Data Collection organization

• Secure global hard drive (disks) logistics,meeting the needs for data collection

• Maintain an overall plan of the need for data logistics equipment (discs, upload stations, pelicases for shipping etc)

• Secure fulfilled data upload and ingestion

• Monitor data quality and test results, report issues found to relevant teams

• Administer Data Upload and ingestion dashboard

• Be the main contact for the data collection supplier for data logistics topics, including contracts and progress monitoring

• Lead a small team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience of having operational responsibility of a team

• 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring supplier management, including contract aspects

Level of Responsibility:

• Leads the area of Data Logistics

• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group. Need to secure alignment with stakeholders and affected parties.

• Requires high level of verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., consults senior leadership to make key decisions).

• Has a direct interface towards the data collection supplier(s)
