Job Overview

  • Plan, design, implement and support global VoIP infrastructure.

  • Support network comprised of Cisco Unified Communications

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies.

  • Perform upgrades, new installations, enhancements and configuration changes as needed.

  • Monitor daily operations; troubleshoot problems, and performance tuning.

  • Adhere to corporate change management policies and practices.

  • Work on cross department and function projects.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation.

  • Be a great team player and be capable of managing vendor relationships.

  • On-call responsibilities.

  • Provide creativity and technical leadership.The job will involve exposure to:

  • Experience in a large heterogeneous environment

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager environments including, UCS servers, TMS, Telepresence Servers, MGCP, SCCP, H323 controlled gateways, Client Services Framework, Expressway, CUBE and Unity Connection

  • Cisco Collaboration products including, MeetingPlace, Telepresence, and Mobile/Desktop applications

  • Sound understanding with complex telephony dial plans, call routing, ISDN PRI T1/E1's, VoIP trunking (H323 and SIP)

  • Network services like DNS, DHCP, Radius, TACACS, SNMP, LDAP and SMTP


  • IT operations environment implementation and/or VoIP system implementation

  • Maintaining and operating server equipment and associated services and applications

  • Have working experience in troubleshooting issues with Vendors

  • Good team player, capable of leading projects

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 3+ years Networked Systems-related work experience OR 5+ years Networked Systems-related work experience without a bachelors degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Great verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent documentation skills

  • Industry Standard Certification required such as CCNP Voice

  • CCNA Certified
