Job Overview

  • Working with cross-functional teams to bring fingerprint biometric sensor technology and manufacturing capability to production ready

  • Operations engineering lead to manage suppliers and drive the high-volume manufacturability of fingerprint sensors

  • Enable ecosystem development for high volume manufacturing of fingerprint modules.

  • Develop the execution strategy to achieve engineering and business team roadmap requirements

  • Set vision, lead and motivate manufacturing ops teams.

  • Drive strategic development by assessing current and new ideas, evaluating cost-down path, and determining the scope and scale of work required to achieve product and customer goals. Create and evolve a manufacturing operation plan that supports Fingerprint business objectives, taking into account technical capabilities, cost constraints, and growth plans.

  • Good communication skills. Strong in customer interface and cross-functional team-work.

  • Ability to create and manage accountability-based-culture: lead, motivate and develop a highly technical and talented manufacturing and ops organization.

  • Ability to travel

Minimum Qualifications

-15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, including at least of 5 years as a VP and above.

-5+ years experience developing components products or equipment involving sensors and biometric technologies.

-Experience with running Operations and/or Product Development of sensor module systems with delivery to Smartphone OEMs.

*Hands-on experience working with customers in Smartphone industries including module manufacturing, semi-conductor and smartphone companies.

-5+ years experience with leading process centric module technologies

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in building partnerships and manufacturing of module technologies

-Experience having successfully employed processes and methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects; knows how to employ process and incorporate metrics by which progress against plan can be measured, accountability can be established, and greater predictability and repeatability can be realized.

-Experience in commercializing and scaling up of new technologies to high volume

-Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on-time / on-budget and driving best practices.

-Must be articulate, open, and direct. Possess strong executive presence with positive interactions across all levels of management, staff and with external customers and stakeholders.

-Serve as a catalyst in bringing together new ideas and creative processes to create an environment of continuous improvement.

-Achieve a high level of trust from the customers. Work closely with customers to validate product specifications and collaborate on developing products that meet or exceed specifications

-Must be willing to relocated to the Santa Clara, California area

-Open to extensive travel to Asia, South Korea, Taiwan and other Pacific Rim markets

Education Requirements

-Required: Bachelors in in Engineering, Physics, or related field

-Preferred: Masters or higher
