Job Overview

  • Support fingerprint sensor and Mobile customers quality related activities

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key personnel at each customer

  • Enable open communication in both directions, easy for customer to reach by phone and email, responsive and knowledgeable, professional (courteous, conscientious, professional)

  • Facilitate meetings between SD CQE and Quality Management and Customers, at customer sites and in San Diego, providing translation, travel assistance, and cultural understanding

  • Provide customers with key information on QCT process, procedures, and practices to improve communication, relationship, and ability to work together cooperatively

  • Communicate customer needs and requirements to counterparts in SD CQE

Process ImprovementProvide recommendations to improve QCT's performance based on customer expectation and customer satisfaction feedback

  • Facilitate customer use of QCT RMA process by assisting in getting RMA number and providing shipping information or assistance. Get customer's failure information to assist in problem-solving

  • Drive quick resolution of customer quality issues through strong initiative and use of problem solving techniques and strategy

  • Reduce NFF and other unnecessary RMA's by working with customers to provide training or other information, refuse repeat customer-damage fail signatures, or otherwise provide support for this reduction.

  • Collect, analyze, and report on customer in-line fallout data

  • Provide data reports to SD and Branch management to summarize branch quality activities.

PCNFacilitate delivery and customer understanding of PCN's

  • Participate in Tech/Business Review of PCN, providing recommendations based on knowledge of customers

  • Deliver waiver letter to customers, facilitate understanding of quality issue

  • Deliver letter to notify customers of product quality issue, facilitate understanding of quality issue

  • Work with customers to gain full understanding of their manufacturing flow, test conditions, inspection/test steps, etc.

  • Review and analyze customer satisfaction survey feedback when available to determine appropriate action items for CQE group

  • Meet as a group periodically to develop strategic and tactical CQE goals based on customer and business unit needs

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Fluency in Chinese/English is a must. Vietnamese is a plus.
