Job Overview

Qualcomm's Power Management IC design team is currently seeking candidates for a position involving the application of common analog mixed-signal practices to verify mixed-signal ICs. This role will provide the ability to directly influence design related changes as required to meet functional specifications. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the pre-silicon functional verification of state-of-the-art power management ICs.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of pre-silicon functional verification of subsystems and/or complete chips.

  • Determine whether anomalous symptoms are caused by errors in the specifications, models, testbench, or design.

  • Write verification plans.

  • Extract modeling specifications from designers.

  • Write and maintain behavioral models and testbenches in Verilog and VerilogAMS.

  • Hold verification reviews.

  • Support integration of composite models into larger composite models maintained by other groups.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering + 3 years of professional experience

  • Functional design verification mixed-signal integrated circuits for power management, analog or RF applications.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience using SystemVerilog or VerilogAMS.

  • Power Management verification exp.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred: Master's degree in electrical engineering
