General Summary:

Manages and leads business and product market needs and translates those needs into required resource allocation and Product Marketing deliverables to meet the company’s business goals and objectives. Responsible for planning and integration in areas including branding, product marketing promotion campaigns and events, public relations, and digital marketing. Partners with members of the Product Marketing team, subordinate managers, and stakeholders to complete work that aligns with the company vision. Leverages knowledge of principles, best practices, and applicable market research to develop competitive product market strategies.

Job Description

  • Staff manager or director of product management

  • Support ADAS engagement with multiple OEMs, Tier1s and partners.

  • Understand and deliver solutions that adapt ADAS stack to China market

  • Lead the overall effort to deliver core pieces of ADAS stack

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional/research experience in one of the following areas: multi-sensor fusion, image processing, machine learning or deep learning, and/or point cloud data processing

  • Excellent English communication skills in written, spoken, and presentation forms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product management experience in automotive ADAS perception stack

  • Experience in automotive ADAS domain

  • Ability to drive engineering team to localize ADAS stack.

  • Ability to design ADAS AI network framework and pipeline

  • Knowledge of current ADAS AI NN trends

  • Experience with OEM/Tier1 ADAS programs

  • Experience in working with raw sensor data, low-level signal processing and analyze large datasets.

  • Experience in performing multi-sensor fusion, 3D-reconstruction and multi-object tracking

Education Requirements

  • MS or PhD degree in CS/CE/EE/Robotics or equivalent with focus on Perception and Computer Vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Marketing, Technical or related field.

• Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Marketing, Technical or related field.

• 8+ years of Product Marketing or related work experience.

• 5+ years of leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives.

• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)

• 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

• 1+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leverages expert knowledge of Product Marketing principles and best practices to identify, implement, and oversee products, projects, and programs.

• Develops strategies and plans product positioning in collaboration with senior management to drive market entry of Qualcomm product lines.

• Evaluates competitive product analysis and formulates long-range plans and objectives for specific product areas.

• Evaluates content and executes marketing plans for Qualcomm products with minimal guidance.

• Synthesizes data to make business decisions driven by strategy to influence key stakeholders across the organization.

• Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and ecosystem partners to promote products and technologies.

• Manages cross-functional teams and collaborates across Product Management; meets regularly with peers and business unit to discuss product and go-to market plans.

• Acquires advanced knowledge of Product Marketing field, Qualcomm products and technologies, and industry and competitive landscape by attending educational workshops and expanding personal networks within and outside of the organization.

Level of Responsibility:

• Working independently with minimal supervision.

• Providing supervision to direct reports.

• Making decisions that are significant in nature and affect work beyond immediate work group.

• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

• Developing and administering budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.

• Exercising a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that will have substantial impact over the organization).

• Completing tasks that do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
