General Summary:
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for gathering, documentation, asset management, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop and associated software.
Analyzes and prioritizes incoming requests.
Provide onsite technical support of Qualcomm information technology/systems/applications to meet user’s requirement, solve user’s problems.
Facilitates the tracking and development of documentation by entering details of incidents, status of service requests, and resolutions.
Follows procedures for incident escalation and notification to leadership.
Skills / Experience Required;
Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
Basic knowledge of operating system such as Microsoft Windows, Linux etc.
Experience with Microsoft office or other office applications.
Experience in Trouble Shooting, Analysis of Production systems or applications.
Network related knowledge is preferred.
Programming skill/experience is preferred.
Strong communication skill, organized, adaptive, team player and collaborator, self-starter.
Fluent English (both oral and writing)
Education Requirements (Degree Major, GPA, Courses):
In study towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or EE.
