Job Overview

Support benefits enrolment system for China employees

oComplete administrator actions and approvals required in the online system such as mid-year insurance enrolment changes due to birth or marriage

oMonitor annual enrolment completion through the online system and coordinate outreach to employees through HR Solutions partners to ensure all employees complete enrolment actions

oAudit eligibility files being sent from online benefits system to insurance providers

oAssist with annual setup and testing of system for open enrolment

Day-to-day support for insurance and benefits administration vendors

Respond to employee queries regarding benefits programs

Draft employee communications regarding benefits programs, enrolment and reimbursement processes and wellness initiatives

Maintain up-to-date benefits information in Qualcomms online HR information portal(s)

Review and approve leave of absence requests

Review and approve benefits reimbursement requests

Complete benefit surveys

Support internal/external audit requests

Coordinate and oversee wellness events including scheduling of onsite yoga or other classes

Support for statutory benefits programs

Complete and submit working schedule application for all Qualcomm China locations

Support acquisitions, and miscellaneous projects

Additional projects as identified

Minimum Qualifications

Must have at least 3-7 years benefits analyst experience in fast-paced organization

Must have excellent oral and written English skills, the ability to build and manage relationships, and the ability to influence change

Must have a good understanding of the labor law and local labor regulatory/policy

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent business acumen and the ability to think and act strategically

Is able to recommend and implement HR solutions after understanding the specific requirement of the client

Has excellent client interaction skills; can think at a high level, comes up with new ideas

Is able to professionally manage day-to-day details, follow up and take work to its intended conclusion

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word

Fluency in Chinese and English
