General Summary:

Candidate is responsible for managing, implementing IP management tool by Perforce (Previously Methodics). The tool integrates with backend SCM i.e., Perforce, SVN, Git and Helix4Git and integration with other SCM systems ClearCase and DesignSync.

Candidate needs to have good understanding and hands on working knowledge of both the SCM systems Perforce and Clearcase. She/He should be able to assess the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it. Resolve technical problems as they arise. Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.

Working knowledge should include the below.

è IP Integration in different DM [Data Management systems] & good knowledge on versioning.

è In depth knowledge of Design Management and Workspace Management

è Integration of IPM with other tools like Ansible, Chef etc.…

è Knowledge on Python or Perl will be desirable.

è Should have good knowledge on how to upgrade IPLM tool.

è Troubleshooting and fixing issues independently.

è Possess good knowledge on benchmarking IP tool.

è Knowledge on Linux administration.

è Sound knowledge on Data sync / transfer across sites.

è Should be quick and good learner.

è Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

è Well versed with Agile and SDLC processes

è Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

è Top notch verbal and written communication and presentation skills

è Sklls in creating architecture designs diagrams.

è Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, flexibility, analytical ability, self-motivation, and team-oriented

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

OR

9+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.
