General Summary:

Candidate is responsible for managing and administering Methodics IPLM (Integrated Platform Lifecycle Management) platform.

This tool integrates with backend SCM such as Perforce, SVN, Git and Helix4Git along with other SCM systems like ClearCase and DesignSync.

• Candidate is responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting multiple data management systems.

• He/She needs to hand on working knowledge of both the SCM systems - Perforce and ClearCase.

• Should be able to assess the system architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

• Ability to understand, design and replicate design flows at an exceptional pace in a dynamic environment.

• Continuously research current and emerging technologies and purpose changes where needed.

• Should executes projects from start to completion.

• Works on team-driven or task-oriented projects.

• Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of IT-related work experience with a bachelor's degree

• Good knowledge and experience in versioning.

• In depth knowledge of design management and workspace management.

• Knowledge on Python or Perl will be desirable.

• Proficiency with all aspects of UNIX system administration and experience.

• Troubleshooting and fixing issues independently

• Sound knowledge of data sync/ transfer across sites.

• Good ability to comprehend new topics, making him a good learner.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Top notch verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

OR

6+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.
