General Summary:

Qualcomm’s GPU Post Si Debug team is responsible for the overall quality of the Graphics IP in silicon. As a member of our GPU PostSi Debug team, you will be working closely with HW/SW Architects, RTL design/DV teams to take the GPU tape out to SOD(silicon-On-Dock), contribute on silicon bring-up, lead the HW issues debugs and to ensuring the quality for CS(Customer Samples).

We are looking for Engineers who can help on reduce the turnaround time for debug, improve the quality of validation and contribute on next gen debug architecture.


9-13 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the debugs of Functional GPU issue reported by internal SW testing or external customers.

  • Building hypothesis based on symptoms of failures, devising experiments to check the hypothesis and arrive at the root cause of the issue

  • Cross team effective communication.

  • Develop new processes and methodologies / tools to improve time to root cause.

  • Taking initiative of enhancing the debug architecture of GPU core.

Minimum Qualifications:

Expected experience and skills:

• ASIC/FPGA Design/DV related work experience.

• Verilog/System Verilog understanding.

• Validation/Debug methodology.

• Functional Coverage analysis.

• Computer Architecture basic concepts.

• Basic understanding of overall System

Preferred (not hard requirement)

• GPU APIs like Vulkan/Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL,etc

• Emulation environments for development and debug
