QCT's ASIC design automation team is currently seeking a senior design automation engineer who will involve in R&D, deployment, operation and support of low power ASIC EDA tool flows/methodology, software application framework, and related infrastructure

  • R&D, deployment, operation and support of low power ASIC EDA tool flows/methodology, software application framework, and related infrastructure.

  • Experience in general ASIC EDA design flow and methodology across different levels of abstraction including system level, RTL, netlist level, and physical level, and across different areas including design synthesis, DFT, STA, P&R, verification, simulation, emulation, etc.

  • Experience in general ASIC design analysis tasks and related data formats including timing, power, area, system performance, verification coverage, SDC, VCD, FSDB, SAIF, UCDB, UPF/CPF, etc.

  • Familiar with commonly used hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL and System Verilog

  • Strong knowledge in EDA flow integration, scripting and related data formats via TCL, Perl, SH/CSH, advanced Unix/Linux programming, etc.

  • Knowledge in object-oriented programming such as C++, OO Perl, Java, etc.

  • Strong knowledge in EDA infrastructure development and operation such as SQL, HTML, web portal, CGI, design management, Visual Basic, etcAdvanced low power ASIC EDA design flow and methodology experience across different levels of abstraction including system level, RTL, netlist level, and physical level, and across different areas including design synthesis, DFT, STA, P&R, verification, simulation, emulation.

  • Preferred candidate will have experience in general ASIC design analysis tasks and related data formats including timing, power, area, system performance, verification coverage, SDC, VCD, FSDB, SAIF, UCDB, UPF/CPF, etc.

  • Familiar with commonly used hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL and System Verilog. Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
