Job Overview

  • Work as DFT implementation lead to insert scan and EDT logic using industry standard tools.

  • Report test coverage metrics and coverage loss analysis in defined format to design and mixed signal IP teams.

  • Work closely with design, PD, timing and SoC teams to perform SAF and At-speed DFT related tasks.

  • Run test pattern simulations using Synopsys VCS.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 4+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate should have focused 5 years + DFT hands on experience in scan insertion and test coverage analysis using Synopsys TetraMax and Mentor Tessent.

  • Must have experience in debugging test blockages, working with high speed mixed signal IPs and using tool based and manual methods to enhance coverage.

  • This role needs more involvement than running tools and reporting coverage. The expectation is for the DFT resource to work closely with digital and mixed signal IP owners to analyze fault coverage loss and suggest design enhancements.

  • Should have experience working in highly automated front end design flow environment.

  • Should have scripting experience in Unix shell, PERL.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
