General Summary:

Position corresponds to Pre-silicon verification of ARM architecture based CPU subsystem. Engineer will work in a dynamic and consumer oriented environment where both time to market and quality are extremely important. CPU subsystem verification sign off includes functional verification using constraint random environment, formal verification and creating/debugging SV/UVM or C testcases to verify different aspects of CPU.

Roles and responsibilities

o Work closely with design/verification teams within CPU to develop comprehensive test plan.

o Use simulation and formal verification methodologies to execute test plans. Write checkers, assertions and develop stimulus.

o Verify power intent through use of methodologies like UPF.

o Mentor and drive junior team members whenever required

o Debug design issues and propose fixes (if applicable)

o Drive automation techniques and ensure code re-usability across projects

Minimum qualification

o Expertise in IP level /Sub-system level verification

o Strong technical depth with SV , UVM , OVM coding

o Must have worked on AMBA bus protocols viz AHB , AXI , CHI etc

o Good communication skills as role would involve working with cross functional teams like design, PD, SOC and emulation teams

Preferred Qualification

o Good Understanding of CPU architectures and ARM CPU micro-architectures.

o Post silicon debug experience is a plus

o Experience in low power verification methodologies is an added advantage
